Please note that DaltonsProperty.com is an advertising-only website. We are not estate agents nor are we responsible for the accommodation advertised on this site – advice required for individual properties should be directed to the owners of the property, who's contact details can be found in the "Sales Contact" section of the advertisement.

The following FAQs are provided to help with queries related to use of this site for finding property. If you do not find the answer you need here please email: enquiries@daltonsproperty.com and we will try to respond within 48 hours.

Q I am using Norton Internet Security, will this reduce my ability to navigate the site?

Q The location (destination) I am looking for is not listed - why is that?

A The destinations in the 'location' menus on the search pages only contain locations in which we have property listed. As soon as an advertiser adds a property to the database in a new location, that location will appear in the menus. If you cannot find a property or land in the exact location you require, try searching in the general region of that location instead, for example - if Barcelona was not listed you could try searching in Spain: Costa Brava: which will find accommodation in the whole region around Barcelona.

Q I emailed an advertiser to request further details but have received nothing – how long should it take?

A An advertiser should email back within a few days, however, if they have not replied to your email we recommend you phone the property owner. You will find the property reference number on the confirmation email sent to you on emailing the advertiser. You can quickly find this advert again by entering this reference number into the search box on the home page.

Q I have seen a property that I am interested in advertised on your website, how can I contact the seller?.

A Once you click on the “More Details” link underneath the advert you are interested in you will be taken to that ad’s full view. At the bottom of this page there are contact details to allow you to contact the advertiser directly to request further information.

Q There are a number of properties on DaltonsProperty.com that I am interested in. Is there any way I can keep them all together so that I can refer back to them later?

A Yes – if you register you can use the “My saved adverts” facility – under each advert there is a link to “Save” the advert. Click on this and the property will be added to your own private page. You can save up to 10 properties at any one time. You will need to register with us to use this facility, however, all we require is your name and email address which we will not use again without your permission.

Q I want to show my friends/family the places I am interested in buying – is there an easy way to do this?

A Yes – if you register you can use the “email a friend” facility – under each advert there is a link to “Email” the advert. When you click this link a pop-up will appear asking for your name and friend’s email address. However, you will need to register with us to use this facility and log in before you carry out your search. However, all we require is your name and email address which we will not use again without your permission.

Q How do I save my search criteria for use at a later date?

A When you register you can use the “My Saved searches” facility – at the top of your search results pages. You can save up to 3 property searches. Next time you visit the site, just log in using your username and password and you will be able to access your searches and search with just one click. However, you will need to register with us to use this facility and log in before you carry out your search. All we require is your name and email address, which we will not use again without your permission.

Q I have forgotten my username and/or password.

A In the Log in section you will find a “forgotten password?” link. When you click on this you will be asked for your email address to which we will then email the password.

Q How do I place an ad online?

A On our navigation panel on the left of the screen you will find a link for “New Advertisers”. This page will explain more about placing ads and the prices involved. You will need to register with us to place your advert and once registered and logged in there is access to a step by step guide helping you place your ad plus advice on how to write and present your ad.  If you have concerns or further queries you can call our sales team on 0207 955 3803 or email sales@daltonsproperty.com.

Q I’m a private advertiser how do I make a payment?

A By clicking on the empty box located next to the edit (button) on the thumbnail of your advert.  A tick will then appear in the box which will now allow the activate button once pressed to guide to you through the payment process.

Q I can’t find the answer to my query?
