Pinhal Novo has 26,000 inhabitants and is situated in the Setubal Peninsula halfway between Lisbon and Setubal. Connecting Lisbon to Pinhal Novo has become much easier with a highway, plus, a new train station has enabled residents to connect directly to Lisbon's subway network in 30 minutes. It is located near the Arrabida National Park and many other facilities, such as shopping centers including Forum Montijo and the Alcochete Freeport.
Pinhal Novo is experiencing continuous growth and has expanded from a little village to a planned 40000-inhabitants city. It benefits from new infrastructure, and urbanization plans do not allow large buildings to be built, this will contribute to a certain quality of life and to the property values of the area in the next few years.
