SITUATED WITHIN PARK RESORTS LOWER HYDE HOLIDAY PARK AND JUST A SHORT WALK FROM BEACH PROMENADE AND TOWN CENTRE.
The Everglade is a superb holiday home and is ideal for families. We are private sellers and not related to the trade in any way, hence our very competitive price compared with what the site would sell you the same caravan for! The caravan is pitched in a nice quiet spot and far enough away from the site entertainment so as not to be disturbed during the evening / night, thus ensuring a good nights sleep for the lightest of sleepers! It is in a sheltered valley surrounded by many trees and countryside footpaths. Good opportunities abound for burning off any of the kids or pets excess energy! Included in the site fees are 8 annual passes to all site facilities and entertainment. These can be allocated to whomever you like. The site has comprehensive leisure and entertainment facilities for all ages and there are also organized activities from April to the end of October.
Now about the static caravan itself. The lounge area affords comfortable seating with storage underneath and also a foldaway double sofa bed featuring a clever foldaway mechanism and a 6cm mattress for really sweet dreams! A Sky dish can be installed. The kitchen area features a microwave, gas cooker and fridge, sink drainer and worktop and cupboards.. The bathroom includes a flush toilet, shower and wash-basin. The shower is nice and powerful and runs off the gas boiler. There are three bedrooms including a 1xdouble, 1xtwin (side by side) and 1xtwin (single and bunk type). The caravan is well equipped with crockery, utensils, duvets etc. for up to 8 people. Heating is by gas fire in the lounge and a 2kW modern oil heater plugged in where desired. Even in mid-winter we could get the caravan really warm and cosy even when it was freezing outside as the vans are well insulated. The caravan is connected to mains gas, electricity, water, and sewage.
The site closes each year from January 5th till the end of February (otherwise it would be classed as a permanent park home rather than holiday home) which is extremely short shutdown compared to most parks.
Annual fixed fees including premium pitch fee, insurence and general and water are approx £5,100 per year payable by monthly installments or one off payment. Sub let income is approximately £600 per week net in July/AAugust. Letting can be managed by park resorts if you desire or you can manage it yourself. At the end of the day, it’s up to you whether or not you want to let your caravan out. It’s an option some people make to offset the site fees. |
